3 Must-Have Factors You Need To Make Money Online!

feature photo

To make money online it is an absolute must that you possess all three of the following factors: 1. Web Traffic; 2. Good Content; 3. S Factor

Factor One: Web Traffic!

This one is a no-brainer…without online traffic you are just another nobody going nowhere fast! The kings of online marketing which include any successful online business are successful for the simple fact they are able to attract large volumes of web traffic to their sites!

Unfortunately for you and I as it so happens any system or method that enables a person to make a lot of cash in a relatively short period of time is by its very nature complicated and difficult to master…otherwise we would all be millionaires now wouldn’t we?

Those who do manage to master such techniques invariably become extremely wealthy which would explain the vast sums of money those internet businesses that have mastered how to attract tons of web traffic have made!

Simply put, the essential importance of online traffic to the success of any internet business cannot be over stressed because:

Traffic = Visitors = Profit!

There are numerous ways to draw traffic to your blog which include the following:

  • Online traffic from search engines (the best type yet the hardest traffic to get)
  • Visitors from forums
  • Web traffic from Social Media Networks & Web 2.0
  • Internet traffic from article writing and posting to article directories
  • Traffic through various forms of paid advertising (this can get nastily expensive fast!)

Factor Two: Good Content!

If you find writing tiresome and a thankless activity or find it hard to produce useful content then unfortunately I have only got bad news for you…because Content is Still King!

Say for example that you manage to attract a good flow of web traffic to your blog what’s the next step? Assuming you attracted that online traffic to your blog for some ultimate purpose, it makes sense that you would wish that traffic to execute your most desired goal (be that to purchase something you are selling or promoting).

The only way that you are going to be able to transform visitors to your blog into purchasers is if you form some kind of bond of trust or connection with them. The easiest way to form that connection of trust with your visitors is through your words!

If visitors to your blog find what you have to say there as useful and informative then it follows that they are going to be much more likely to purchase products you are promoting as an affiliate or follow any of your recommendations.

Thus ultimately it is your content (words) that will convert your visitors into believers…which is why the phrase “Content Is King” is still very much applicable and accurate to this day.

Before I move on to discuss the third essential factor required to make money online allow me to digress a little and touch on the subject of links and link aggregation.

A lot of people are typically mistaken about the role that links play online. Viewed from a dispassionate perspective it is easy to see that links have only one ultimate purpose for any website or blog and that is simply to draw traffic…nothing more, nothing less!

Viewed logically the aggregation of links is done so as to give a blog or website increased exposure on the search engines. And there is only one good reason to strive for increased search engine index exposure…and that is to get increased traffic flow to your site!

Link aggregation is not an end in itself but rather a means to an end…where in this case that end would be the attraction of more web traffic.

In a somewhat similar context people do not strive to get money for its own sake (well most normal people don’t) but rather do so because of what having that money would enable them to do (a perfect example of that means-to-an-end scenario). The same scenario holds true for links.

It matters little if your website has thousands of links compared to a site that boasts a paltry few if they both rank on page one of Google for the same competitive keyword! After all the sole purpose of those links is to attain increased search engine exposure and thus get more web traffic! Understanding this underlying concept will make it that much easier for you to achieve the goal of how to make money online successfully and rapidly.

Factor Three: S Factor!

So what is S Factor ?

Think of it as the essential missing ingredient in the recipe to make money online.

If we were to consider your online business in the metaphorical context of it being a car in such a scenario it would follow then that:

Web Traffic = the engine that drives your online business

Content = the fuel that powers the engine

Factor S = the oil that lubricates the engine

If Web Traffic is the engine that drives profit then Content must be the fuel that propels that engine and S Factor the oil that lubricates the engines moving parts!

Without S Factor your online business campaign will invariably grind to screeching halt long before you have achieved any measure of success much in the same manner that an engine in the real world which lacks lubrication inevitably burns out!

  1. Interesting article.

I have to agree with you on that bit about links and content. I have found that whenever allow one of my blogs to go stale without adding new content its listing tumbles on the search engines and eventually it loses page rank.

Keep it up. I can’t wait to find out what the S Factor is!
